A must-visit in the Vendée region. We stumbled upon L'Ardoise Gourmande and had a wonderful lunch. The lobster risotto, the desserts, etc... our taste buds were delighted. Thank you!

Gourmet dining in a family atmosphere. Four people, ranging in age from 75 to 10, all delighted. Tender meat cooked to perfection. Fresh fish, perfectly cooked and flavorful. Risotto al dente and the lobster was excellent. Your standard was very high, but we're back 10 years later and extremely satisfied.

A truly wonderful experience. A very warm welcome, fresh ingredients, and dishes prepared to order. I came for the calf's head with gribiche sauce, which was absolutely delicious. Attentive and highly professional service. Approximately 42 euros per person for a complete three-course meal (starter, main course, dessert) and a glass of wine.

Delighted with our choice of restaurant for a lovely family meal. A varied menu, delicious and expertly prepared dishes. A truly wonderful culinary discovery. The welcome was very friendly and warm. We will definitely be back.

Lunch stopover, a very nice discovery, everything was good: Welcome, food, accessibility, parking. The only downside was the rosé, which wasn't chilled but was refreshing.

Delicious and well-balanced dishes. Smooth and professional service. Perhaps we would have appreciated a bit more friendliness and smiles... admittedly, the profession requires a certain level of concentration... but still... I recommend it.

17/06/2026: We came for dinner as a family of three, including a child. The Moscow mule was excellent! The balance of the different dishes was perfect. The sweet and savory ice creams were incredible. The desserts were less elaborate than the main courses but were still very indulgent. A children's menu with similar choices to the adult menu = thank you! 🙌 A very good place!

25/07/2026: I stopped at McDonald's this Saturday, July 25, 2026, with my family. We placed a €70 order. Everything was hot and well-cooked; nothing was missing except napkins and the deluxe sauce. The lobby was crowded, so it wasn't spotless, but as a manager myself, I can understand that. Nevertheless, the service time and the friendliness of the staff were not affected. I recommend it! 👍🏻⭐️
