L'Arlatan sur Arles

We ate here and the dishes were delicious; however, the service was slow. They forgot the bread, and there was a considerable wait between the appetizer and the main course. And the bill was even worse.

Passing through with my mother, we stopped at L’Arlatan for a sweet treat, where we received a warm welcome and were served by Guillaume! It was a particularly pleasant experience, during which we enjoyed an excellent all-chocolate éclair, which we highly recommend. A big thank you for the warm welcome; we will definitely be back.

We came for lunch last year, and this time we stayed overnight. The welcome was very professional, with the assistance and tour of our room. A really nice touch was the rug and bowls for our dog – what a thoughtful gesture! I'm never disappointed by the restaurant; the dishes are good and beautifully presented. My only complaint is the lack of allergen information… I'm gluten/lactose intolerant… which is complicated for me! The staff did everything they could to ensure I ate healthily, but every dish contained gluten… which is unacceptable for me! You'll be in the heart of Arles' historic center. A stroll through the old streets of this magnificent city is a must, and you're also just steps from the banks of the Rhône. A very pleasant stay!

We have dined at this restaurant very often. Over the past two years, we have noticed a decline in quality; some servers—especially those often working as bartenders—are very unpleasant. It's not uncommon to wait a long time for food, and for dishes to arrive cold. A real disappointment for a place we love. We were once refused lunch on the pretext that the kitchen closes at 1:55 PM. The setting is magnificent, and everything is in place to ensure a wonderful time. All for an affordable price. It's a real shame that the service is so poor.

We booked a room for our wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome and were upgraded without even requesting it. The meal was delicious, and we were also surprised with a complimentary dessert from the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel where the staff is incredibly attentive, the decor is magnificent, and the location is perfect for visiting Arles. You can book with complete confidence; you won't be disappointed! Thank you to the entire team for these thoughtful touches. We will gladly return.
