Excellent little local restaurant. The value for money is outrageous (€22 for the three-course market menu is ridiculously cheap for a Saturday night). Perfect sauces, seasonal vegetables, and perfectly prepared. The cheese platter is also perfect, with well-selected cheeses served at the right temperature. Truly everything was excellent, except for the half-hour wait between the starter and the main course. We'll be back, and frankly, it should be more expensive.

Excellent restaurant, superb dishes with incredible flavors. One star less because on that day we were seated at two large tables of several people plus one nearby table of four. The service was a bit slow for us. However, they were very efficient with the children, who were served quickly. The owner deserves a lot of credit nonetheless, as running a business is no easy feat.

During our stay in the region, we stopped at L’Aromate and we weren't disappointed. A warm atmosphere, excellent service, superb cuisine, and very good value for money. We highly recommend it!

Excellent restaurant. The owner runs the kitchen single-handedly and does a fantastic job. High-quality food. Good service. Unbeatable value for money. For two people, including an aperitif each, a glass of wine, and two set menus (starter, main course, dessert), it cost €56. Go for it! You won't regret it 😉

The cuisine is worthy of a master chef. This restaurant truly deserves that distinction! The service is impeccable, with elegant descriptions of the dishes. They are very welcoming to small dogs. The owners love what they do, and it shows in the food. The value for money is exceptional! This place is definitely worth a visit if you're exploring the charming historic village of Saint Aubin du Cormier. Thank you for this wonderful discovery!

We had dinner as a family at this restaurant. It was a wonderful discovery; the menu is small but seasonal, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

28/03/2026: Delicious. Very pleasant and smiling staff.
21/03/2026: The gallettes and crepes were very good ( and the cider), and the sevice fair and friendly. We were disappointed however on our initial entry. Website information indicates that the creperie opens in the evening at 18:30. This is good as we were attending a local concert after our meal. We had been sitting in the square waiting for 18:30, so when th lights went on we eagerly entered, but were informed that the 1st 15 minutes were for telephone ordering and we were asked to wait outside again, which we did. We would have happily bought drinks - extra income for them if we had been invited to wait in the warm We were therefore miffed when 4 other customers were allowed to enter inside early, and put in their order, before us. I'd go there again, but last night they missed an opportunity of hospitality.
