Our first time at this restaurant. From the warm welcome to the last bite, L’Arpège offers an exceptional gastronomic experience in an intimate and cozy setting. Nestled in the historic center of Colmar, this restaurant offers creative, seasonal cuisine of remarkable finesse, showcasing local and often organic products—a true ode to modern French gastronomy. The dishes are meticulously presented, each plate revealing a harmony of flavors that pleasantly surprises. Romantic, quirky, elegant, and quaint restaurant with exquisite, inventive food

This was our first visit to the new location of L'Arpège. While the dining room is considerably larger than the previous one, the cuisine remains outstanding, and the wine selection is still excellent. The service was impeccable, exceeding all expectations. The only slight drawback was the requirement to order à la carte in the evening, as set menus are only available at lunchtime. This slightly increased the bill, although the price seemed justified.

The welcome was friendly and polite, which was appreciated. However, the food left much to be desired: the flavors lacked finesse, the game was poorly accompanied, lacking sauce and seasoning, and the mashed potatoes were very dry. The service was practically nonexistent, with no real attention to detail throughout the meal, and the wine service was nonexistent. The setting is quite lovely, but neither the service nor the cuisine lived up to the ambiance. I rarely write reviews, but I was very disappointed. A shame.

What a joy to experience this magical break away from the hustle and bustle of the city during the Christmas market season: culinary delights served by a happy team... whose enthusiasm is contagious! Thank you for sharing this.
