Fantastic restaurant, the likes of which we rarely see anymore. The owner is very friendly and generous! My mother comes for the duck breast, my sister for the Saint-Marcellin cheese, and I come for the black trumpet mushroom fondue 🤣!

An incredible restaurant! The fondues are excellent, the portions are really generous, and above all, the flavors are superb. I've rarely enjoyed a meal so much in a restaurant. The owner is so friendly; he made our experience wonderful. I highly recommend it!

We go there regularly with colleagues and it's always a great time. The food is home-style, varied, with slow-cooked dishes and classic favorites that are always impeccable. The atmosphere is calm and the owner is always pleasant.

Spectacular! The fondue was incredible, as were the salads, and the maître d' was especially attentive, even though we don't speak French. Highly recommended.

The fondues are amazing, a real treat, the atmosphere is lovely, and the owner is incredibly attentive. It's impossible to visit Montpellier without eating at L'Assiette aux Fromages.

19/08/2026: The waiter was very pleasant and smiling, explaining the products and their origins very well. There was a lot of homemade and local food, all for under €40 per person including several drinks. For my first time, the bull meat was very good; I recommend it.
17/08/2026: Excellent bull tartare in this restaurant in the old town center on a pedestrian street!

21/08/2026: Beautiful vaulted dining room. Excellent service. Great wine pairing advice. Superb meat cooked exactly as we wanted it, accompanied by a delicious little sauce. Plenty of very good fries. A very original and flavorful vegetable side dish. What more can I say? I highly recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

You'll never be disappointed by what you eat, and a big thank you to Tom for guiding us in our choices! A fantastic evening. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is, in my opinion, one of the best in Montpellier.
