The food was truly excellent! The avocado and shrimp appetizer and the ballotine as a main course were absolutely delicious. The waitress was pleasant and discreet, apologizing for the wait, which was perfectly fine for us. We took our time enjoying our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Passing through Metz to visit the cathedral, I stumbled upon a rather unassuming restaurant at its foot. Excellent value for money... a very friendly owner who only puts her own favorite dishes on the menu... No Lorraine specialties, but dishes she loves, and that makes all the difference... you can go there without hesitation. I loved it!

A delightful experience, stepping back a few decades. Classic and atmospheric. A very limited menu, but honest products, well-prepared, and generous portions. The interior is in dire need of a refresh, but it also creates a nostalgic atmosphere. It certainly won't be to everyone's taste, but we appreciated it. The service is French-style (initially quite cool), but this relaxed towards the end. A major plus was the very tasty (red) wine. Highly recommended for wine lovers.

I went there on Friday, December 12th. The waitress was super friendly on the phone… but when I got there, she seemed so tired and irritable that I felt uncomfortable. My friend speaks English, but she didn't make any effort. I tried to lighten the mood, but I was met with a wall of silence.
The food is nice, and I'd been there five times, but this will be the last. I understand being tired of eating out, but at almost €100 a table, I would have preferred a more convivial atmosphere.

A warm, intimate atmosphere, a short, seasonal menu, and impeccable sourcing. Attentive service. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

What a place of pure bliss!
Surrounded by furnishings reminiscent of the early 20th-century Nancy School, we savored food and drinks behind the glass roof by the window, with a breathtaking view of the magnificent Metz Cathedral illuminated by the night.
After champagne, we enjoyed avocado with shrimp, followed by chicken ballotine with morel sauce and mashed potatoes, and for dessert, a gourmet Deutz champagne – one delight after another.
In a word: fantastic!
