'Manger ici c'est comme un reve.'
-> that is where my French ends sorry :-). Incredibly great experience tasting a 3-course menu on a quiet night :
- Black-pudding for starters
- Sea bass main w/ mashed potatoes
- Egg-foam desert
All meals were out of this universe and unlike anything I had tasted before. Would specifically highlight the fish - whose crust was crispy but not burned , put out of the oven at a precise point... real chef perfection. Bonus points to staff for speaking great ENG (penalty points to myself for still speaking sub-par FRA ;-/ )

A truly wonderful dinner at Le Romarin in Metz. The cuisine is refined and well-balanced, and the setting is warm and elegant.
The service is professional, friendly, and welcoming. I particularly appreciated the attentiveness to guests and the engaging conversation, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
A great place that I happily recommend!

Overall not a bad experience. Actually, the service was absolutely great!
However, the sirloin steak/faux filet was quite tough and the steak sauce wasn't very tasty.
I see huge potential for this restaurant, but I'd want the cooking to be better. Yet I am only reviewing the dish I had, and I can't say if this was merely a one off in terms of quality.

A very welcoming restaurant with excellent customer service. Impeccable service.
We had the set menu: starter, main course, and dessert.
Starter: Chicken and mushroom pâté, a little dry for my taste, and I didn't really taste the mushrooms, but it was very good.
Main course: Pork cheek with mashed potatoes and peas, excellent, but I would have liked more mashed potatoes. 😉
Dessert: Black Forest-style verrine, very good, but the cherries didn't add much besides a nod to Black Forest cake. Mirabelle plum crumble with mirabelle plum ice cream, excellent.
Fast service.
