I stumbled upon this extraordinary, almost timeless restaurant... friendly welcome, quick service, generous and delicious main course and dessert, ice-cold water, all for €17. Even if the dishwasher is a bit dirty, there's nothing to change; if there's a problem, we should help them—it's part of the city and country's heritage.

A very old bistro in Saint-Germain, perhaps the only one left from the heyday of this old neighborhood. Absolutely worth the trip. Be warned, as they say, it's unpretentious. I love it.

This is the place from 60s You still can have your French fries and good antrecote for lunch for €12. And it’s one minute from Pont Neuf. Save your $ for a overpriced meals in tourist places and buy some coins in Monnaie De Paris boutique instead

13/06/2026: So, I'm going to revisit a previous review, modifying it slightly: A seedy bar that I hope will stay that way! I saw a concert there last Sunday. Luckily, the band was excellent. Otherwise, the toilets were exposed, and the "concert hall" reeked of urine. The rest of the bar was filthy, but the atmosphere was great. Don't change a thing! May Zorba remain Zorba. A good punk concert in the basement, basic beer, Belleville squared!
10/04/2026: A very friendly atmosphere in this unique bar, which also has a small concert hall offering consistently original programming - I highly recommend it!!

25/08/2026: I can never thank this man enough; he had all the stature of a great man, the makings of a manager. Thank you to him for kindly giving me change, while Paris slept soundly, allowing me to buy a box of condoms from the vending machine. Thanks to him, my wife will soon give birth to our first child. She and I would like our son to bear the same name as this mysterious man, who has entered family legend as the new hero of Alesia.
