L’Atelier Gourmand sur Vierzon

We ate very well. The dishes were excellent. Having been informed that we had a film to see at the cinema, afterwards, the manager, who welcomed us as at home, did everything to ensure that we were served as quickly as possible. A big thank-you. I stuck with the classic: entrecote fries and Paris-brest; 11/10. Recommending this establishment is obvious. We had a great time.

Very warm welcome, pleasant staff. Very good dishes and well presented plates. Little choice but quality. A menu is only available at lunchtime, otherwise it's a la carte. Great discovery. Don't hesitate to test.

Located in the center of Vierzon, nice but a little sad, especially the first floor. Clean and personalized. The dishes are good but a little expensive. Typical and traditional Berry proposals including snails, foie gras, meat and cheeses. Many raw materials are processed right on site. Offered parmesan biscuits at the start of lunch and typical Bordeaux cannelles with coffee. Then oysters, coqueilles saint Jaques, snails, foie, vegetable dishes, entrecote, pork belly lacquered with pear... a cheese plate. Puff pastry tart with cream and chocolate dessert. Good sandwiches!

Rather traditional offerings in this restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and decor. There is a 2 or 3-course lunch menu at a modest price (€21 for dessert), but the offer is limited. I chose the duck leg with mushroom puree. The meat was not very good, a “reheated” taste however, the vegetables were good. A chocolate caramel choux mousse for dessert, nothing exceptional, but good. The owner may seem a little "gruff" at first but she is friendly and efficient during service. It remains a satisfactory place for this small town where the offer of traditional restaurants is a little limited. I deserve to come back to try an à la carte dish and maybe increase my score.

I was able to taste a seafood sauerkraut as a dish of the day, excellent! Fresh and tasty products, I enjoyed it. Everything homemade right down to the bread. I couldn't help but leave with a delicious gingerbread cake 😋

We first chose this restaurant because it was located not far from the A20 and was correctly noted on Google. The restaurant was full on a Tuesday around 1 p.m., which is definitely a good sign! My partner had a menu and I had the vegetarian plate for €21. At first I said to myself it's a bit expensive for vegetables and starchy foods.... But then, what a delight!!! Very nice plate where everything is seasoned and seasoned perfectly. Nice presentation and good quantity. It's been a long time since I ate this well!!! My partner enjoyed the chicken supreme and a fruit gratin for dessert! The lady serving is friendly and not idle! Even the coffee was a nice experience with the homemade petit cannelé... Not forgetting the bread!!! Too bad we live so far away!!! But if we have to travel on the A20, we now know where to stop!!! THANKS
