L'Athena sur Paris

Nice bar/tobacconist with a friendly welcome

From the €19.00 set menu, I chose the Burrata, Roasted Peaches and Serrano Ham starter, which I found excellent, and for the main course, Morteau Sausage, Polenta with Comté cheese, and Old-Fashioned Mustard Sauce, which I found good and generous. I also ordered a digestif: a tasteless Mirabelle plum brandy, a low-end, industrial quality, for €6.50 a glass, which was truly disappointing. A good Mirabelle plum should normally release powerful aromas of yellow fruit, honey, and a light note of sweet almond. The staff was good, and the restrooms were clean.

My favorite bar, a place where people are genuine and professional, the products are high quality, the service is impeccable, the place is clean and welcoming, and the prices are very affordable compared to other bars in the area. I highly recommend this place. Review from a loyal customer since 2016.

This restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, the owner and staff are super friendly, and the dishes are homemade and affordable. It's a rare find among Parisians, especially lively during lunchtime. Highly recommended!

Very friendly manager! I highly recommend this great neighborhood spot 🌟
