A friendly, cheerful establishment where you eat very well and very generously. Recommended for all meat lovers. The service is perfect, the staff very pleasant, the place authentic, in short an excellent restaurant. I highly recommend.

Wonderful discovery at the entrance to Ajaccio coming from Alata. So of course, the frontage doesn't make you dream, but we really enjoyed it. The meat is cooked in the center of the room over a wood fire and is truly exceptional, not to mention the sauce and the “homemade” fries that accompany it. Few tourists, mainly locals. In general it doesn't lie!!! I recommend ++++

Restaurant that I highly recommend. Copious and tasty dishes, reasonable prices and a warm welcome. The meats are cooked in the fireplace in the middle of the room. Never disappointed and always ready to go back 😉

L'Auberge du Cheval Blanc

20/09/2024: Le restaurant s'appelle Le (petit) Cheval Blanc. L'auberge du Cheval blanc n'est ni un restaurant ni un hôtel, il n'y a pas de réception, ce sont des chambres au-dessus du restaurant, avec un escalier très abrupt, c'est tout. La n°3 donne sur une cour d'immeuble, et est équipée d'un Sanibroyeur très bruyant. La salle de bains/wc n'a pas de porte mais un simple rideau. Une bouilloire est à disposition. La chambre n'a pas été faite pendant notre séjour. En septembre la nuit est entre 90 et 110€.
03/07/2024: Perfect location in old city. Easy check in. Morning quiet , evening noisy if you open the window. Toilet and shower are separated from bedroom by fabric curtain. If you are couple, it is not comfortable . There was a two very small soup tubes in the bathroom.It finished immediately.We bought from market soup and shampoo. There was no any room service for next day to take garbages ....
