Good inspiration to stop at this restaurant. Coming to Lille for a sporting event, we booked a hotel on the outskirts. Arriving around 2:00 p.m. at the hostel we were received with kindness and without any comment about the time.
We then had plenty of time to taste the regional specialties served in this establishment. The difficulty lies in the choice.
The dishes arrive, very (too?) plentiful and appetizing. Served with a smile by the owner who takes the time to chat a little.
Retro atmosphere between inn and roadhouse. With the welcome and simplicity expected.
A real good time to recommend

Stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance.
It was a very nice discovery.
The salmon fillet is excellent, the Tonka bean crème brûlée is also very good.
I highly recommend.
The staff is very friendly and the place is pleasant.

Great discovery with my lifelong Kopine for my birthday. Everything was perfect. Very nice bosses. I will definitely go back there especially as there is a terrace. Good luck to you.

J’ai réservé ce resto pour un déjeuner d’équipe et c’était une agréable surprise!
Réservation facile sur internet en 2 clics.
La cuisine était bonne : je conseille le welsh hyper fondant et généreux, ainsi que le gourmand (petit +, on peut choisir les gourmandises!!)
Personnel très serviable.
Je recommande!
Aussi, on a pas testé la terrasse car il pleuvait… mais elle avait l’air canon!

Today I went to eat at the Auberge de la Forge:
- the service was fast, even though there were 13 of us.
- we ate well, the Welsh was very good + special mention to the "Gourmet Break" (see photo) where you can choose the 2 miniature desserts with our coffee, good idea and very well presented
- and finally the welcome was excellent, the staff are very friendly

Parfait, nous organisé un anniversaire avec 57 personnes, tout était parfait. Personnel agréable, et souriant.
Responsable à l’écoute de notre événement. Cuisine excellente. Je recommande sans hésiter.
