Beautiful spot by the church, so in the shade, which was very pleasant during the heatwave. The food is excellent and beautifully presented as well. The brothers are very hospitable and friendly. Highly recommended!

A spontaneous lunch at this little inn at the foot of the church in Bussiere Badil. Excellent welcome and service, the set menu is excellent value for money. The cuisine is simple with a touch of originality, the seasoning is perfect, as are the cooking methods: - green salad, grilled zucchini, feta cheese - chicken marinated in ginger (just the right amount) - cheese tart and strawberry compote Only fresh ingredients, a real treat! An address to remember!

Absolutely fantastic food with reasonable prices in an authentic French atmosphere. This a real gem & off the beaten track. We love eating here at all times of the year & have visited now many times & NEVER had a bad meal. We highly recommend this restaurant!

A very good restaurant, very nice and polite owner. We accidentally ordered mussels; we don't eat those. They didn't make a fuss when we explained this, and we immediately received the menu we actually intended. I can only say: perfect restaurant

A family lunch, simple but excellent quality cuisine; the steak tartare was generous and very tasty. The butcher's cut looked very appealing. The wine list is adequate and offers some excellent wines. The service was impeccable and the welcome was warm. Thank you for allowing us and our Belgian Malinois on your lovely terrace. The profiteroles were a pure delight! 👍😉

A cozy and typical French local restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The service is particularly friendly, sociable, and welcoming. Very reasonable prices, certainly in relation to the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

08/06/2026: This place is the best restaurant I've ever been to. I don't know about the rooms in this review, but from Paris, one can't help but wonder about the quality of French cuisine served in the capital... The outdoor setting was magnificent; we were protected from wasps attracted by the sweetness and delicious aromas. The Périgord quality, traditional to this region, should be a French example. I remember the amuse-bouches being exceptional, the foie gras delicious, and the main course delicious and generous, especially since we had a "surprise" apricot tart... I would go back every year if I could. I plan to return this year, alone or with friends... we'll see. But the Dordogne is the pinnacle of French gastronomy, and it's home-style cooking. The cuisine is rich, complete, nutritious, and delicious. Thank you for this memory, which is making me want to eat "home-style" food even from Paris. Gabriel
10/05/2026: A wonderful experience, very good. The raspberry jam, the foie gras, the duck—all excellent. Returned in May 2025, still just as good.
