This place is the best restaurant I've ever been to. I don't know about the rooms in this review, but from Paris, one can't help but wonder about the quality of French cuisine served in the capital... The outdoor setting was magnificent; we were protected from wasps attracted by the sweetness and delicious aromas. The Périgord quality, traditional to this region, should be a French example. I remember the amuse-bouches being exceptional, the foie gras delicious, and the main course delicious and generous, especially since we had a "surprise" apricot tart... I would go back every year if I could. I plan to return this year, alone or with friends... we'll see. But the Dordogne is the pinnacle of French gastronomy, and it's home-style cooking. The cuisine is rich, complete, nutritious, and delicious. Thank you for this memory, which is making me want to eat "home-style" food even from Paris. Gabriel

A wonderful experience, very good. The raspberry jam, the foie gras, the duck—all excellent. Returned in May 2025, still just as good.

We had a wonderful time; the setting is superb, the welcome warm, and the meal was delicious. I highly recommend this little corner of paradise nestled in the Périgord countryside.
