This inn has managed to retain its traditional charm and is clearly still very popular despite the recent sweltering heat. We ate well for a very reasonable price. The view is splendid. We would have really appreciated some air conditioning.

The cabbage soup starter was excellent, as was the chicken liver salad. The main course, Rapoutet, was a huge disappointment for everyone. It was tough and dry, with whole cabbage leaves and ribs, very poorly presented, making it difficult to serve. The cheese and desserts were decent, and the coffee was included at a reasonable price. For a class meal, everyone was disappointed. Furthermore, service began at 12:30 pm and ended at 5:00 pm. To finish on a positive note, there was a breathtaking view of the Chaîne des Puys mountain range.

Fantastic place: The welcome, the service, the food, and the view were all wonderful.
For those who appreciate authentic, unpretentious local cuisine, this is the place to go.
A truly lovely spot to celebrate a birthday.

Restaurants like these are becoming increasingly rare; I had the Rapoutet and it was simply exceptional. I couldn't get the cheese platter. The service was top-notch, the owner even came to shake your hand at the beginning. In short, a true inn.
