L'Auberge Du Bachelin sur Saint-Omer

Excellent. Dinner last night with 10 colleagues. I tried the escalope with bacon and cheese, the island cocktail, and the pear and speculoos charlotte. It was excellent at a very reasonable price. The service and welcome were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

We went back this Thursday at lunchtime. Longtime regulars, we even knew the previous owners and were delighted to learn that the new ones had already taken over a year ago: the food is still just as good. With our drinks, we were served appetizers – a lovely touch. We chose a Welsh rarebit (a regional specialty) with delicious fries: generous and flavorful. For dessert, a vacherin ice cream sundae was a real treat. The owners are very friendly, and it's clear that the clientele is mostly regulars, a sign of a great reputation. I highly recommend this restaurant – quality, a warm welcome, and dishes that make you want to come back.

For a first visit, we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent; the scallops on smoked cauliflower cream were superb! The service was a little slow, but it was very busy. We recommend it.

My mother's 90th birthday meal was very good, just one small commercial detail: my daughter-in-law only ordered one dish because she was held up by work, and they charged her for a full menu at €32. I think they could have made a gesture, especially since there were 25 of us.

We had a wonderful meal, excellent mussels... and the foie gras, oh my goodness, my lips are still watering! Everything was delicious. The welcome was warm and the staff were incredibly patient. We arrived with a rather fussy little girl who caused some damage, but the waitresses were very patient nonetheless. Thank you for the warm welcome and congratulations to the chef!

A very nice restaurant in the heart of Bachelin, very well located near the Maison du Marais (if possible, park in the Maison du Marais car park). Very good food at affordable prices with warm and welcoming staff. I highly recommend it!

We were welcomed in even though we had arrived very late. I’m so glad they squeezed us in as we had a lovely meal here.
