L'Auberge du Pont - Restaurant sur Cajarc

What a magnificent place of conviviality! From the moment you enter, you are in the atmosphere of an inn that is both modern and authentic. The superb central table sets the tone. A very welcoming and smiling boss and a dynamic team, a real breath of freshness and originality in the village of Cajarc. As for the cuisine, it's also famous, meat and fish cooked to perfection which is quite rare on a working menu, the rest of the dishes we saw all looked appetizing! And we enjoyed ourselves from the starter to the dessert and even the excellent coffee 👌🏻. Lots of themed evenings offered, depending on tastes, a wide range of board games, enough to spend excellent evenings it seems to me! An original, family and friendly place where you can enjoy yourself! We will come back and highly recommend!

Had lunch here, the food and service was great. I will be returning. It was quite busy and although I managed to get a table without a reservation I would recommend reserving a table. I will be returning. I have already recommended this place to a friend

During a visit to the region, on January 23, 2024, around 12:30 p.m. we randomly contacted this establishment. Both places have been reserved. Arriving around 1:00 p.m., we were surprised by the people in the restaurant room. We were seated 5 minutes later. Warm, friendly and efficient welcome. The frantic pace is maintained by the team. Always a touch of humor, a nice, commercial speech of course, but that's what we also expect and what puts us at ease. The dishes are very good, well presented. No false notes. For the team... keep going!

Upon entering this restaurant, you immediately discover a huge and magnificent wooden table, very welcoming, like the new owners of the place. Gourmet and simple cuisine made from local products. The homemade hamburger and fries are worth trying urgently. The lunch menu is offered at €15, the hamburger at €14. In addition, game evenings are organized on Wednesday evenings. A good address to rediscover.

I was traveling for training, the people I was supervising took me to eat lunch at the Auberge du Pont. I had passed by it very often and had the pleasure of tasting this home-cooked cuisine. Simple and good products, whether the homemade grated carrots, the homemade fries, the chocolate cream humm, the floating island (yes the custard is homemade), the little vegetables that they took the trouble to cut and cook at home. If you pass by and want to treat yourself with good products, don't hesitate to open the door, it's an inn with a simple exterior appearance, the interior has no frills but a generous and tasty plate.
