L'Auberge du Vallon sur Guebwiller

The setting is pleasant and the menu is diverse. However, prices are high. Although the atmosphere is pleasant, the value for money is a bit high. Our experience was marred by an undercooked tarte flambée, which took about 15 minutes to return, leading to a lag in our meal.

The whole family agrees that we really like this restaurant. We tested it between brothers with the children, then we introduced it to the parents. We also went there just between us on a whim but I advise you to book anyway. It has a large and beautiful cool terrace despite the summer temperatures, equipped with a sandbox for the little ones as well as a swing etc. below. Inside there is also a dedicated space for our toddlers which I find really great. The food is extremely good, quality and quantity, so much so that it is sometimes difficult to choose since everything is good (at least what we were able to taste in 4/5 visits) The service is friendly and pleasant without overdoing it 👌 I recommend!

An establishment known to the friends who invited us there, I would not have dared to venture onto the forest path which leads there. Nice surprise, in a green and wooded setting which allows you to eat outside in the shade of trees. (there is also a room inside and a beautiful veranda, green spaces allow children to let off steam a little, (some games available). The dishes are good and plentiful. Certainly victims of their success, a few dishes already sold out at the start of the service, the service is a little overwhelmed by events, but remains very correct. It would perhaps be necessary to reserve a free passage in the path, sharing tables and menu displays with the comings and goings of customers and service is a little annoying (we were often jostled. Overall this place, well hidden, is very pleasant and remains a nice surprise.

Wonderful welcome despite the late hour, an extraordinary garden of generous Alsatian specialties. Reservation recommended.
