The family atmosphere, the slow-cooked grandma's cooking and the portions are generous, especially the truffade is huge for one person... We particularly appreciate this rustic decor and the place full of memories.

We visited your restaurant on February 29 with 7 adults and 3 children. For the children and 5 truffades nothing to say very good, on the other hand our grandson had a rib steak which arrived almost cold the waiters reheated it and I I even chose the dish of the day, just hot veal head, too bad. I think we might need to heat the plates. Have been customers for a few years and plan to return next year.

The meal was OK but not as good as we were told Uncomfortable chair (I have back problems and wooden chairs are very complicated) No high chair for baby and had to fold the stroller. Not very simple for a family place like Mont Dore.

Already it is sublime and worth the detour just for this early 20th century room. Then it offers copious menus and extremely reasonable prices for the location. We opted for 2 daily menus for less than €15 (main course starter), and a full menu for €19.90 a la carte. It was very good and plentiful. Small downside on the passable truffade. The best part: they accept dogs 🙏♥️, attentive staff once the ice is broken Advice: better to book as it fills up very quickly

Ambiance rétro qui colle magnifiquement avec le lieu. Nous sommes venus pour des glaces et des crêpes qui sont excellentes

20/03/2024: To finish a stay in Chastreix we came to try this restaurant, the location is great with a view of the mountain. Warm welcome and nice decor. Regarding the meals, they are plentiful, varied and very good.
16/03/2024: Very pleasant restaurant with quality products and very friendly staff. We enjoyed the fourme d’Albert truffade
