L'Authentik sur Bergerac

We were urged to come here by the owner of the apartment where we were staying. Had lunch there from the fixed price menu. Smoked salmon, steak with mousseline potatoes and madeleine. Every course delicious and nicely presented. The waiter had excellent English and we had a bottle of wine he recommended (pecharmant which was the best we had all week). Light bright attractive room with plenty of space between the tables. Throughly enjoyed it all, bill about €80.

Ideal place for an aperitif or an evening especially in karaoke mode, atmosphere and service at the top! We can't talk about cooking but the tapas are nice but the guacamol really lacks punch! I recommend to have a good time...

When I was there, there was a football match and no one was interested in us. Once we caught the bartender, it was a problem to speak English, then no one was interested in us and the French next to us started talking to the bartender and he didn't react. There's a nice decor inside, so my rating for the atmosphere is 3.

Did not try the food but you get popcorn with your drinks. People who work there are lovely. Great location as well.

Very good time spent at authentik. A pleasant and warm team for musical or sports evenings on the big screen depending on the moment.

Lovely little places for small bites and cocktails/wines on the way to Antibes harbour. Since it’s a bit away from the main touristy area it’s more fun with a warm vibe and great service. And they have a happy hour too! We really enjoyed our time at this place.

It seems to be a bar for local people. We didn't see a lot of tourists, which was great for us. Nice bar with very friendly staff.
