Everything is great! Right next to the Papal Palace, I heard they are renovating the entire room this year, and luckily, I got a renovated standard room. I love the slippers, bathrobes, clean bedding, and even the view of the Place de l’Horloge! The reception staff are also very friendly. Thank you for leaving me with such good memories of Avignon, where I arrived on a rainy day! I’ll be back ☺️ Everything is perfect! Just next to the Papal Palace, I heard they are renovating all the rooms this year, and I’m so glad I got a standard room already renovated. The slippers, bathrobes, clean bedding, and above all, the view of Place de l’Horloge makes me very happy! Le personnel de la réception est également très aimable. Merci de m’avoir laissé un si bon souvenir d’Avignon, même sous la pluie. Je reviendrai avec plaisir ☺️

The location is good and it is suitable for a one-night stay. The price is reasonable, and the staff are friendly. They try to explain things further and greet you well. The male staff member who assisted me during check-in was so kind that he remains in my memory; it is a shame I can't remember his name. He was a sweet guy.

Excellent location for sightseeing in the city, with numerous restaurants right outside the hotel and a shopping street just beyond. The room was large, well-appointed, clean, and pleasant—perfect for a short stay. However, the hotel offers limited amenities, no bar, no lounge. Breakfast wasn't very extensive or particularly good compared to other hotels in its category. If you're driving, you have to park in the Palais des Papes parking lot and then drag your rolling suitcases over the cobblestones. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

The hotel is well located, but the amenities are limited. There was no welcome drink except from a can dispenser, and the water came in cardboard boxes. The room wasn't great, with two beds pushed together. This hotel won't be one we remember, however, it was quiet and we slept well. That's the bare minimum, really.

24/05/2026: This old hotel has retained its charm. However, it could use some restoration in certain areas (crooked stairs, faded paint in a few places, and worn carpets). It would be nice to offer the following in the rooms: a USB port, a bottle of water in the suites, chocolates in the evening when guests turn down for the night, etc. Small details, but they make all the difference. We had no hot water one evening. After mentioning the problem to reception, no one called us back. We tested the water again later, and it was working. A call to let us know it was being repaired would have been appropriate. The staff is efficient and dedicated. The hotel is very well located, and everything is within walking distance. The town is charming. I recommend this place.

08/08/2026: In the middle of a hot summer afternoon, after a pleasant visit to the Palais des Papes to see the Lee Ufan exhibition, we found the perfect spot to relax, cool off, and enjoy an ice cream. For maximum comfort, always choose a terrace with natural shade. You'll always be cooler there. This establishment's terrace is the only one truly shaded by large, sturdy plane trees that protect us from the scorching sun of recent years. Furthermore, it also boasts the best view of the palace, the spacious square, and the entire vista of the climb up to the gardens. It's peaceful because it's a car-free zone. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always smiling. They are incredibly attentive. Their menu is varied and available at extended hours to suit your appetite and pace. The ice cream menu is simple, varied, and delicious. So there we were, sitting in the shade of the large plane trees, enjoying ice cream, coffee, and cold drinks in peace and quiet. A must-visit spot.
07/08/2026: Wonderful setting opposite the Palais des Papes, tucked away from the terraces of other restaurants. We had a lovely dinner. The children's menu is perhaps a little pricey, as it only includes a drink and a main course for €15. Quality cuisine, beautiful view, and welcoming, friendly, and professional servers. A great experience during our stay in Avignon.
