L'autre Rive sur Saint-Laurent-Sur-Saone

We ate on a Saturday lunchtime. Top notch welcome and service. Very cozy atmosphere with a view of the Saône. The cuisine was good and rather refined but my wife and I found the quantities a little tight compared to the price, but undoubtedly linked to the quality of the products served. This remains one of the best restaurants in the area. We enjoyed it very much and we will definitely come back.

We had a very good lunch, the dishes were very good.

Tested today with family. Restaurant offering a varied choice of dishes. The service staff is pleasant and smiling. The dishes served as well as the appetizer were all very good. We were also recommended for the wine which went well with our meal. The cooking of the deer was perfect, as was the chocolate fondant. I recommend

Special mention to the deer and wild boar, whose sauces and accompaniments on their respective excellent purees were particularly tasty, for the Chateldon which we find with pleasure in quality establishments, and for the surprisingly richness of the wine list. The Marsannay 2022 from Tripet, less prestigious than an domaine de la Tâche, nevertheless came elegantly to pair with these delicious dishes. The restaurant room is light and spacious to allow guests to enjoy the view of the Saône without crowding while enjoying their meal. Added to the good welcome by attentive and pleasant staff: everything would be perfect. Except for the Grand Marnier soufflé which must be forgotten: none of the 5 ordered that evening were worthy of eating. Damage. Even the subtle mandarin sorbet that accompanied it could not really console us for this disappointing end-of-meal note.
