L'Avant Port sur Saint-Martin-De-Re

Beautiful room, excellent cuisine using very fresh produce. Impeccable service, very good wines, well recommended, faultless. The best restaurant in St Martin, the desserts are remarkable

We spent a very nice evening at Avant Port. Very beautiful setting inside and out. We both had the land and sea tartare which was very nice with the addition of foie gras. As a main course, I had the pan-fried langoustines and casseroles, served on a chorizo ​​and piquillo risotto...it was sublime!! The chorizo ​​was not too strong, just enough to spice up the dish, and the langoustines and casseroles were tasty and perfectly cooked. It was one of our best vacation meals! My friend was unfortunately not so lucky - his cod stuffed with shellfish being very, very small, overcooked, and generally not very tasty. There were a lot more vegetables on the plate, and not much stuffing either. However, cod is not the most expensive fish...that said, the waitress graciously agreed to change her dish for pan-fried langoustines and we were ultimately both delighted with our dish :) For dessert we were also amazed by the Paris-Ré...really excellent and perfect to share between two!

If you want taste on your plates with a gastro service, you have come to the right address. In terms of price, with sometimes around twenty euros more compared to the port, this time you will have put your taste buds in turmoil. Nothing to complain about with a calm and panoramic view of the port. A soothing evening just a stone's throw from the crowds. Well done to the team!

C'est la seconde fois que nous avons dîné à L'Avant Port et nous avons à nouveau été ravis. Cuisine inventive, cadre chaleureux, service impeccable.

Magnifique endroit, le dîner au coucher de soleil qui se reflète sur les bâtiments du port est superbe. La cuisine : parfaite. Du début à la fin du service aucune fausse note ! Et que dire de l’accueil ! À bientôt j’espere !
