L'Avant-Scène sur Paris

My new fave stop in Paris! Everyone who works here was so friendly and welcoming and helped guide me through the wines. It was a great chill place for me to stop and work for a bit too. The chocolate mousse was also divine - I thought it would be like the other ones I’ve had in Paris, but it was warm and tasted like the inside of a chocolate molten cake, with a scoop of ice cream in the middle. I’ll absolutely be back!

If you want to experience the food then definitely go to the other one “ l'avant comptoir de la mer”, otherwise the wine is same and the food menu is almost the same but definitely not as good as the other one.

The most satisfying wine bar I visited in Paris! The simple tapas-style dishes were incredibly delicious, and thanks to the natural wine recommendations tailored to my taste, I had a wonderful and enjoyable time there :)

great spot in the market area, tiny standing-room kind of place but the food is unreal. super rich flavors, really well done bites, and the whole thing has that classic paris-by-way-of-new-york charm. perfect for a quick stop or a pre/post wander, and i’d go again in a heartbeat.
