L'Avant-Scène sur Paris

One of my favourite places in the city for wine and tapas. It was my second time there. And I highly recommend

Lots of previous good memories at this place. I made a point to come back today on a short trip to Paris and gosh the dude behind the bar sucked. There was zero spirit of hospitality and seemingly zero interest in the wines he was pouring or explaining anything about them to me. Rang up the till before I had a chance to order lunch. A special spot marred for me now and I won’t be back.

It's a bit noisy and hard to get a seat, but the atmosphere is great. The food is delicious, and the staff are friendly despite being busy. I want to come again. It was fun because the staff taking orders and serving were handsome and pretty. I recommend the duck heart and pig ear dishes!

The best meal I've had in Paris during this visit. They're tapas-style, adapted, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked. I loved it.

Taking over such an iconic establishment isn't easy. Yet, the new team has managed to preserve everything that made it so special: beautiful bottles, warm service, a lively, friendly atmosphere, and that joyful chaos that gives the place its charm. The spirit of Les Avant Comptoirs has finally returned, without any snobbery, just the pleasure of sharing a good time. Thank you to the team! ♥️

Lovely atmosphere, staff were amazing. When I asked for the wine list the lady said 'i am the wine list' and then asked what I wanted and found me the perfect wine! Loved the taramasalata and the black pudding! Made some lovely french friends ( Lucas and Lucas). Best night so far en Paris!!!! 🥰🥰🥰

A sure bet, always a top-notch welcome, a good atmosphere, good wines and great service.

My new fave stop in Paris! Everyone who works here was so friendly and welcoming and helped guide me through the wines. It was a great chill place for me to stop and work for a bit too. The chocolate mousse was also divine - I thought it would be like the other ones I’ve had in Paris, but it was warm and tasted like the inside of a chocolate molten cake, with a scoop of ice cream in the middle. I’ll absolutely be back!

Unbelievable experience. I spent hours here, the staff is amazing. The wine and food are also incredible. Highly recommend!
