A very pleasant restaurant. We received a very warm welcome from a lovely lady who gave us excellent advice on the menu. The cuisine is very refined; the sweetbreads are excellent, and the chestnut mousse with its melting center is a delight and very light. I highly recommend this restaurant; the chef is an excellent cook.

12/03/2026: We came with the children for a weekend. Excellent Savoyard fondue. Everyone enjoyed it. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, we'll be back.
08/03/2026: A delight from start to finish! I visited Royan a few months ago to see my husband's family. We had a wonderful meal at L'Atelier. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked. Special mention for the homemade desserts—absolutely divine! The staff is welcoming and friendly. They also have a great sense of humor. A sure bet in Royan, far from the tourist traps.
