We received a very warm welcome at this brasserie during our week in Saint-Avertin, so much so that we returned every lunchtime. The dishes and desserts are good, generous, and inexpensive. The staff are very friendly and welcoming; it was a pleasure chatting with everyone.

I highly recommend this brasserie. The owners are wonderful and attentive people, and their waitress and cooks are perfect too. We thoroughly enjoyed their aperitif, starter, main course, and dessert ☺️ We booked the entire restaurant for an evening dedicated to International Women's Day. We truly had a fantastic evening; thank you again for your warm welcome and kindness. See you soon! ☺️

25/08/2026: I came today with friends, we had the set menu (starter, main course, dessert), the products were high quality and the main course was delicious! With the setting by the water and the welcome, everything was perfect.
20/08/2026: We were delighted with our quick visit this evening and had the pleasure of dining at this excellent restaurant, a charming riverside eatery on the banks of the Cher River. The food was superb and the service was top-notch. Highly recommended!

17/05/2026: Excellent value for money. Very good breakfast, the cheese platter is a nice touch. A slight scare upon arrival due to no one being there to greet us, but everything was quickly sorted out.
12/05/2026: We had booked 6 months in advance with a box, the hotel was full but the owner had thought of everything and relocated us to a gîte, a real haven of peace, very beautiful setting, nothing to see, pleasant owner and the staff of the hotel du faisan very welcoming.
