Le Faisan sur Saint-Avertin

Excellent value for money. Very good breakfast, the cheese platter is a nice touch. A slight scare upon arrival due to no one being there to greet us, but everything was quickly sorted out.

We had booked 6 months in advance with a box, the hotel was full but the owner had thought of everything and relocated us to a gîte, a real haven of peace, very beautiful setting, nothing to see, pleasant owner and the staff of the hotel du faisan very welcoming.

We spent one night in this charming family-run hotel. The bedding was perfect. The welcome was very pleasant and the location is excellent.

We arrived after a long journey from Brittany, looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a wonderful, pleasant spot with a large courtyard (which also serves as parking) where you can enjoy relaxing outside in the sun. You'll sleep soundly with a full stomach. Everyone is smiling and welcoming – everything travelers could wish for after a long drive. Nearby, there are places to see: a beautiful church, shops, and charming streets that have retained their authentic character – perfect for unwinding. And we're not too far from the city if needed. 😊

The apartment-hotel room was clean, spacious, and perfectly suited for a family or group of five. It just lacked a bit of crockery.

Restaurant with good value for money

This is a very friendly hotel located near the center of St. Avertin, on the southern outskirts of Tours, on the banks of the Cher River. The quadruple room is large, clean, and comfortable. The service is impeccable, and the owners are truly charming. There is free parking in the courtyard and a public parking lot a short walk away. Unbeatable value for money. A highly recommended address for a stay in the Touraine region on a budget but with all the amenities.
