The setting is really lovely: hardwood floors, velvet armchairs, wicker pendant lights, a metal staircase, and walls covered in framed pictures—you immediately feel at home. I had a lemonade, which was delicious and refreshingly cold, served with a few peanuts. The bar is also very well stocked. I highly recommend it!

Very nice place, very good food, just a little too noisy for that evening.

One Friday evening, while strolling through Old Lille, we ended up at this friendly restaurant where, in addition to the warm welcome, I enjoyed an excellent Flemish carbonnade like I've never experienced before!!!

Allo Couscous

15/06/2026: Excellent couscous, as usual... thank you!
13/06/2026: I used to order from them regularly, and I always loved it. Today is the second order that's arrived incomplete… couscous with meatballs without meatballs isn't very good. It's the second time in two months. Two €50 orders down the drain…
