I recommend this restaurant if you're passing through Mèze. I advise you to book in advance. They offer a very good set menu with a starter, main course, and/or dessert.

We stumbled upon Restaurant 29 in Meze, right on the port. Without a reservation, the welcome was impeccable. Beautiful view, well-located facing the port, comfortable table and chair. The service was friendly, with a touch of humor that was a nice bonus. We enjoyed a very good meal, generously served. My husband had a tuna, squid, and cuttlefish with vegetables platter, and I had a mixed meat platter. For dessert, we had a pear à la Belle Hélène. The restaurant was full. We will definitely be back with our friends very soon. It's a given. Visited in September 2026. We were certain we would have a wonderful meal at Restaurant 29. We started with a small aperitif (Madame Mandarine Mimosa), followed by the main course (a very generous portion: cuttlefish, prawns, monkfish, and tuna). A very indulgent dessert and a small coffee for Madame. The restaurant was packed, but the service was friendly whether we were on the terrace overlooking the port, in the veranda, or inside. We have absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be back.

Excellent establishment, friendly owner, pleasant waiters, quality is consistently high even when it's busy. You can go there with your eyes closed; the quality of the service and the food is always the same. Well done!

Yesterday, I had a delightful dinner at the restaurant "Le Q29 sur le port" in Mèze. For my starter, I chose the gratinéed mixed oysters: four oysters and ten gratinéed mussels, a remarkable dish paired with a glass of Picpoul de Pinet. Next, a superbly grilled ribeye steak, which turned out to be enormous. Fortunately, they offered me half to take away, carefully packaged. It was accompanied by an excellent glass of red wine from Domaine Saint-André. Finally, a generous gourmet coffee. The service was excellent and attentive, which is remarkable considering the restaurant was full. It's no wonder this restaurant is often packed, as the quality of the food is exemplary.

We went there for dinner and frankly everything was excellent, from the menu to the service, and my 2-year-old grandson had a very good children's menu 😋 We will definitely be back 🤩

Having already dined here at lunchtime and never been disappointed, I recommended this restaurant for a family dinner. A sure bet whether ordering à la carte or from the set menu, young and old alike were delighted to enjoy the warm welcome and a convivial atmosphere by the harbor.
