Lunch menu during the week at 22 euros, starter, main course and dessert correct (too bad the fries are not homemade). Too crowded tables and a very friendly and attentive server.
Their pizzas are delicious and their flank steaks too and especially their entrecôtes fries-salads and also their marrow bones. For desserts you have to look and then taste but the Suzette crepes are delicious and the others too. And I'm not talking about their summer terrace when the weather is nice in the morning, midday and evening.
Your prototypical old-school French Tabac. Good, straight-forward brasserie food, wonderful service, friendly staff, nice 'jardin' at the back. You can't go wrong here. Highly recommended.
It's difficult to know if it's the place that makes the owners bitter and sad or the other way around.
The 55 was once a brewery that was also a hit and not the other way around.
The waiters are always friendly unlike the owner, but that's a great tradition that has been passed down from boss to boss at 55 for 10 years.
Not a hello, not a smile, not goodbye really it's nice to come and spend your money there (once again the servers are top notch).
With such a location and such a beautiful surface area it is an incredible waste for Vesinet.
