The welcome was very friendly, the garden lovely, and the parking very convenient. The dishes we ordered from the menu were delicious. We were even lucky enough to have Chef Pic herself come to visit each table… Fantastic! 😊🙏🥂

What a wonderful success Bistrot André is! It allows you to discover the essence and flavors of PIC's cuisine without breaking the bank. Delicious pâté en croûte and flavorful duck breast. The decor is lovely with its open kitchen, and the service is incredibly friendly.

The "André in his time" menu is perfect for discovering the establishment and enjoying the chef's delicious dishes. Certain à la carte dishes also guarantee a captivating presentation. The sommelier is a true enthusiast.

There's definitely a mix of styles. Attached to Anne Sophie's restaurant and hotel, the welcome is befitting their high standards. The bistro's dining room is pleasant, with wood paneling all the way to the ceiling. Some tables overlook the interior terrace and a small green oasis, while the other side offers a direct view of the road and the scaffolding of the building under construction. The service is top-notch, with little touches worthy of a fine dining establishment. I dismissed the menu based on the dishes, whose descriptions were all more enticing than the last. Having cooked some of them, it mainly confirmed my own amateur cooking skills. There's nothing transcendent here: it's flavorful, well-prepared, but a bit heavy, like the porchetta, whose texture sticks unpleasantly to the teeth and whose very fatty meat becomes cloying. As for the wine list, it must have been taken from the 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, as the prices are exorbitant. I thoroughly enjoyed the Syrah from the Rhône hills. On the other hand, the dessert was simply amazing, and thankfully so, I'd say, for 17 euros; but yes, that was something else. Truly sublime... I was a little disoriented, having just touched on the fine dining scene and then seeing people wearing caps at tables... So, my feelings about the food and the wine list are a bit mixed. Still, I'm delighted to have experienced the prestige of a PIC establishment since the Daily closed.

A magnificent restaurant with modern service

Bistrot André is an offshoot of the three-Michelin-starred restaurant run by Anne-Sophie Pic. I knew it from having been there many years ago. I chose to have a starter and a main course: trout gravlax followed by shredded beef cheek with dauphinoise potatoes. The starter was good but very basic, especially for the price. As for the main course, the meat was coated in a reduced jus that I thoroughly enjoyed. However, I was quite disappointed with the dauphinoise potatoes, which, in my opinion, were bland and uninteresting, almost dry. But overall, the meal was pleasant. I gave it a 3 out of 5 because of the price of the wine and spirits. Prohibitive and, in my opinion, completely inappropriate for the establishment, which is certainly pleasant, but not Michelin-starred... Glasses of wine over €20 and a glass of Hermitage €78. I would have liked to have a whisky as an aperitif, but the prices stopped me in my tracks. What are the prices like for drinks in a 3-star restaurant? Many Michelin-starred restaurants offer a more modest drinks menu with affordable prices. Perhaps less elaborate options, more in line with a bistro style, would be welcome.
