How can anyone leave a negative review for this restaurant, I wonder... I'm a restaurant owner, and when I see the number of cooks and attentive servers, I think the prices are more than reasonable! All those people need to be paid! When I see reviews where customers say it's too expensive, they don't know what it's like to pay payroll taxes... It's a truly generous gift from Madame Pic for a €49 menu! Plus, everything is delicious; the seasonings on the green bean salad are simply divine... And the lamb too... Bravo to all the staff, so full of love and passion for this profession that's slowly disappearing... Enjoy it instead of criticizing without giving a second chance. It's a very difficult profession; you wouldn't last a day! You're just freeloading critics. Thank you, Chef Pic, for allowing everyone to access your expertise, passed down from generation to generation... 🙏

At each stop in Valence, we stopped at André le Bistro, a restaurant offering an array of unforgettable flavors… Damien, as always, was lovely and gave us excellent advice.

Impeccable service, requests perfectly fulfilled, high-quality products, and delicious flavors. We also greatly appreciated the view into the kitchen, which allowed us to watch the chefs at work preparing the dishes. Special attention was given to my daughter's birthday, with great discretion, exactly as we had requested. Kudos to the server! A truly wonderful experience, which we wholeheartedly recommend!

I visited once in July and once in August, and the conclusion is the same: the service doesn't live up to the PIC reputation. The term "bistronomic" is largely misused. On both visits, the starters were identical: tomato salad or bean salad. While the vegetables were very good, it all lacked a certain creativity. The main course, listed as a "lamb ravioli" on the menu, was actually lamb with a few vegetables, or Pyrenees trout with a few vegetables. Even though both dishes were well-prepared, I would say these preparations are closer to a form of bistronomic assembly cuisine. Dessert: blueberry tart with a scoop of blueberry ice cream. The tart was okay, but the blueberry sorbet was pasty, certainly because the fruit wasn't centrifuged and was blended with the skin on. Alternatively, there was peach Melba, served with ice cream that was melting, not to say completely slushy. Overall, it's not worth €49. Otherwise, a lovely place with an interior garden. One minor complaint: the misting fans can be unpleasant at some tables in windy conditions. On the other hand, the homemade rye bread is delicious, and you can ask for a doggy bag if there's any left. In conclusion, there's room for improvement.

A perfect dinner despite the heat (thanks to the misting fans!). The terrace is very pleasant, the service discreet yet attentive and efficient. The surf and turf mosaic is exceptional; the pike quenelle is a little bland, but the desserts (chocolate mousse and blueberry tartlet) are delicious. A truly wonderful place.

What can I say… Everything was perfect. The welcome, the location, the staff, the atmosphere, the food! The bistro benefits from the same high quality as the 3-Michelin-starred restaurant located in the same building. Excellence in culinary expertise. One of the best lunches, if not THE best.

I was a little disappointed by the food. The fish was so drowned in sauce and vegetables that you couldn't taste it, and the clafoutis was overcooked. However, the location and service were very good.
