Le 7, Bistrot Chic sur Valence

An exceptional experience. For our trip from the North to the South of France, we had planned a stop in Valence to sample Madame Pic's cuisine. We couldn't afford the 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, but Bistrot André, Pic's second restaurant in Valence, promised a wonderful culinary experience. And it delivered. To quote Emmanuelle Jary (it's better when it's good), "when you cook well, you cook well on every level." From the welcome to the service at the table and the small plates on the tasting menu, we were delighted with the restaurant's offerings. We also made a point of trying their signature appetizer, a blend of land and sea, and a passionate sommelier who amazed us with his wine pairings. The conversations and the short tour offered by the hostess brought this culinary experience to a perfect close. Being from Northern France, we clicked immediately. 🥰 Thank you for this wonderful experience, if you are ever in Valence, if you have a must-see, it's Maison Pic!

It was our first time dining at Bistrot André, thanks to a gift certificate we received. A wonderful opportunity to discover this sublime place! We were lucky enough to eat outside in a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, feeling like we were in another world. The food is simply exceptional, and the staff is truly outstanding! We particularly appreciated the attention paid to allergies: the allergens we mentioned when making the reservation were carefully taken into account beforehand, and suitable dishes were offered to us with great care. The recommendations regarding wines, as well as the non-alcoholic alternatives to accompany the different dishes, were also a delightful discovery. Everything was perfectly paired, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. A truly wonderful experience, with excellent value for money. We're already planning to come back more often to explore more of Bistrot André's cuisine!

Exquisite cuisine at affordable prices in a chic and relaxed green setting! Impeccable and personalized service. The tomato appetizer was a delight, as was the rest of the meal. A lovely experience at "Bistrot André", the place is magnificent with a beautiful terrace in a shaded garden, large wooden tables, sufficiently spaced for perfect privacy, a warm welcome, very professional service and advice for wine selection, the 3-course menu was excellent, it's a first step into the world of Maison PIC.

A very nice, soothing stop in the center of Valence, and this bistronomic place, André, what a delight, great cuisine accessible to all, thank you chef.

We went to Bistrot Pic. The staff were very welcoming, not at all obsequious, and very attentive. The setting is lovely, in a shaded courtyard, sheltered from outside noise. The meal was excellent; I particularly enjoyed the frozen orange soufflé. The sommelier is exceptional, passionate about his work and very knowledgeable. It's definitely a place I'll return to. I would have liked to try the fine dining option, but I don't like this new trend of not advertising a menu: not everyone likes every dish, and I don't want to cater to the "celebrity whims of certain chefs"!

Very professional staff. Bouillabaisse too salty. Calisson sauce a bit thick. Veal pissaladière PERFECT! Lamb's brains, breadcrumbs a bit too thick. Very good bistro.

A completely unexpected surprise. I will definitely return.
