The daily menu is attractive for the local prices, and above all, it's comprehensive and varied. The owners are very welcoming. Definitely worth trying!

The set menu offered excellent value for money at €18 for a starter/main course/dessert, featuring fresh and balanced ingredients. Easy street parking with two hours free. I would gladly return on my next trip to the area!

I've been coming to Cluses every week for a few days for the past three months. I've had the chance to try many restaurants, and Le 8 Mai is my favorite. The service is courteous and quick, and the food is always excellent, if not exceptional. I have a particularly fond memory of an almond tart that was wonderfully balanced and incredibly subtle. Hats off to them. And on top of that, the prices are very reasonable.

We received an excellent welcome at this restaurant. Our party of eight dined there, and the menu was simple yet incredibly appealing. When the dishes arrived at the table, it was a true feast for the eyes and the palate – everything was delicious. We will gladly return on our next visit to Cluses for our holidays. I encourage anyone looking for an authentic restaurant to give this one a try.
