We stopped there as a family just for a drink. I love this place, and the children do too. The owners are very kind, and so is their dog 😊. There's nothing to complain about, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. An idyllic setting at any time of year… The children loved being able to borrow straw hats; it's easy to access but not right next to the slope, so you can relax.

Another unforgettable evening at Babotch. Thank you to Gary and the whole team; reopening the kitchen at midnight to make us a ravioli gratin just like at home was simply magical—a vibrant atmosphere in a timeless setting.

The food and hospitality were both excellent. I think this is a restaurant worth making the effort to visit. I enjoyed French home cooking. ❤️ I'd love to return if I have the chance.

The owner and his mascot dog welcomed us with the biggest smiles and friendliest attitude. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a nostalgic, homey atmosphere that raised our expectations to the max. All of the dishes were made with local ingredients, and both the taste and appearance were beyond our expectations! We also thoroughly enjoyed the wine, dessert, and digestif. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in Megève❗️ Thank you to everyone at the restaurant‼ ️

We stopped by on our way to a ski trip from Japan. This wonderful restaurant was hard to find. Monsieur and Madame were very friendly, and the service and food were excellent! It was a wonderful memory on our last day of skiing at Megeve. The homemade sweets were also delicious. Thank you 💕

I was really touched by the warm hospitality of the owners! I was very satisfied. The food was delicious, and the after-dinner drink and dessert at the end were also great!

Update January 26. Delighted to find that a year on Le Babotch is still as good with the same menu concept and charming hosts. Thank you both for our fabulous lunches and your hospitality. We wish you a great season and can't wait to return. Returned to this restaurant as we enjoyed it last year to find it is under new ownership. Wow! Even better by a mile. A small menu (6 to 8 choices) which in our opinion is good, all the ingredients are locally sourced and fresh and cooked to order. No freezer to microwave here! The owners, Gary and Isabel, are delightful and deserve great success. And all in a fabulous setting. Recommend booking as this is already becoming very popular. We look forward to returning.
