The place has a great atmosphere, right on the river bank, and it's very pleasant inside. The service is fast and friendly. The food was good, tasty, but I wouldn't put it on my favorite list. The atmosphere is definitely worth a visit.

Incredible dishes. First time at this restaurant. By far the best fondue I've ever had. Very, very good quality. +1 for the service. We arrived on a Friday evening without a reservation (for two). The receptionist kindly took us in and found us a great table. We were served very quickly. In short, I highly recommend it; it's refreshing to find a restaurant with such high quality. Proof of that is that I finished everything!

Excellent setting and food to match, the aesthetics of the restaurant reflect the rustic agricultural setting of pre-skiing Megeve. The pork with caramel sauce was absolutely delicious, and the snow peas were snappy and sweet. A shame this restaurant is faraway from where I live, as I would love to frequent this establishment.

We found this place while looking for a local French restaurant in Megeve. It was a great choice. We sat down without a reservation. The interior decoration was very authentic and beautiful. The food was delicious. The prices were a little high.

We had a reservation for three people the day before, but the restaurant was practically empty at 1 p.m. We were squeezed into a table for two with the wall serving as a backrest for one of the three of us. The waiter must have been having a bad day; he didn't smile at all... a shame, because the food was good.

La Table de l'Alpaga

24/04/2026: We discovered La Table de l'Alpaga during our stay in Megève, and everything was perfect. Delicate and flavorful dishes, a magnificent setting, and attentive service. We had a truly magical time.
22/02/2026: Undoubtedly an excellent restaurant, but I was still a little disappointed by the choice of dishes. A revisited onion soup, endives, beef, and vegetables in the style of a pot-au-feu—certainly extremely well-revisited and elegantly presented—but the ingredients were still simple. The staff was very attentive. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, which I had mentioned when making the reservation, and the chocolate plaque that accompanied our dessert was engraved with "Happy Wedding Anniversary"... what a shame...
