Le Bacchus sur Rennes

The place is really lovely, beautiful location, architectural success! The idea of ​​combining a restaurant and a show is excellent. But there are three drawbacks: - Food quality: a €17 risotto, I'd like it to have some flavor - Service: the waiters are very friendly, but the owner, who is always around, could make an effort so her forced smile doesn't feel so forced - Show quality: even if they're beginners, when I pay €16 for admission, I expect the performer to have at least learned their lines! I recommend it for a drink, it's perfect!

Lunch on the terrace at Bacchus, overlooking the Vilaine River. The dishes are simple but not overly so (special mention for the croque monsieur), the menu is short, and everything is very good. I recommend it!

Had a great time at Bacchus... But, a charcuterie/cheese platter, a small beer (in moderation) before Jonathan O'Donnell's show!! Definitely going back!! Both Bacchus and Jonathan's show were fantastic!!

Excellent food, fast service, and afterwards we enjoyed the show in the theater with the talented Cécile Marx! Lots of laughs! The theater is very comfortable and intimate. Daily specials or sharing platters, delicious cocktails. A great time! 🤩

A must-visit if you want to have a great evening, whether you're from the area or just passing through. The welcome is fantastic, the shows are high quality, and the venue is magnificent.

Bacchus is one of my favorite places in Rennes. Whether it's the atmosphere, the setting, or the food, I love this place and go there quite regularly. A very good address!
