I ate there a little over a year ago and it was exceptional, I went back and the quality has changed and the Japanese chef is no longer there.
It's not bad but it's clearly not worth the price, it's become basic.

Nothing exceptional. Frankly, I, who hadn't eaten Japanese food for a long time... I thought I was going for a safe bet.
I took 2x maki with fatty tuna and eel; the fish is integrated into the rice in a way that you can't really distinguish the taste of the fish and the portions are tiny. Are we talking about half a maki!?
Decent miso soup, nothing more, the best was the sesame ice cream, tasty and satisfactory portion. The place is cramped but above all, cold…. The waiter was as pleasant as he could, I believe, in this freezing setting. Thanks to him.
Prices really too high for what it is, I won't go back there again.

The ingredients were fresh, the shari was good, and it was authentic sushi. After receiving your order, a Japanese chef will make it for you. Paris is a city where packaged sushi is easily sold, but it's a completely different place. I had a delicious lunch at noon. You can feel free to enter with a commoner atmosphere. However, the seats are small, and it feels better to eat quickly and leave quickly than to relax. Service was unassuming, but friendly. Thank you for the meal. I love sea urchin 💕 The taste of tea is the best 🍵

A small portion of vinegared rice for €5.50! It's the most expensive I've paid and it's impossible to know exactly the fish served in the assortment... Frankly disappointed and the prices are much too high.

Excellent nigiri and sashimi with a special mention for the succulent eel. If you want quality and diverse fish, Izumi is a great place to enjoy.
The only downside: the price is too expensive. A tip: allow you to see more of the chef preparing.

My favorite sushi restaurant for several years. I continue to go there despite the price increase. If you want to taste authentic sushi, this is one of the places to go. A small restaurant with only 1 chef. You can sit at the counter to admire his work!
