An exceptional wine bar! A wide variety of quality wines with prices for all budgets! Many references in Burgundy, Loire, Côtes du Rhône, Languedoc Roussillon, Côtes de Provence, wine from Corsica, Alsace,... The listening and advice of the wine merchants is as good as the wines served and sold. As some would say in a renowned show, “A Very Very Good!”

Damien is a true wine professional. The choices are great and the selection is high quality.

We had been traveling for two weeks, eating meals thrice daily, and needed a break from full meals. We went in, met the lovely owner during the day, and decided to return at 6:30 PM. I picked out a nice bottle of wine, and we ordered meat, cheese, and bread. The place was packed with locals, and we enjoyed our conversation with many who spoke English. It's a highly recommended little spot. My wife and I both thought it an enjoyable evening that we would repeat.

The place has unique character and the most welcoming patron. Every effort is taken to match the wine to your taste and there is most excellent, simple food to enjoy. All this in a quality environment based on pure simplcity. For us this was the highlight, amongst many, of our stay in magnificent Le Mans and we recommend that if you have the opportunity and enjoy excellent wine, food and atmosphere to include Le Bar a Vin in your itinerary.
