While passing through Castelnau we went to eat in this restaurant. Pleasant service, quality dish, very good and plentiful. A good address.

Un petit restaurant très sympathique au coeur de castelnau-montratier. Très bon accueil,une cuisine délicieuse. Les côtes d'agneau du Quercy sont à tomber avec carottes glacées,aubergines et frites. Nous reviendrons

Nice bar on the main square. The terrace is pleasant, part of it is under the arcades. The service is friendly and efficient, the coffee is good and the sorbets too. To try for a meal.

We had a lunch on the terrace with an a la carte hamburger and children's menu, the plates were distributed empty, fresh product, it tasted like homemade fries. We will come back with pleasure.

The place has difficulty offering anything else, a cheese salad for vegetarians, you have to ask otherwise it doesn't offer

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch when we remembered the lovely square in Castelnau-Montratier and the good experience we had had at Le Bardouquet some years previously. So we set off on this very hot June day having booked a table at the restaurant. We weren’t to be disappointed as, to our delight, very little had changed! Our waitress welcomed us and showed us to a great table overlooking the square. As the restaurant began to fill up, our drinks order was taken and we made our choices from the menu. I chose the ‘special’ which was a generous platter of smoked salmon with a chive dressing and salad, delicious, warm fruity bread and a bowl of ‘dirty chips’! My husband ordered English-style Fish and Chips. Our meals were superb: well-presented, fresh food that took less than ten minutes to arrive! The whole was washed down with a glass of Chardonnay and a bottle of sparkling water, then coffee. Perfect! At 52€, our lunchtime feast was well worth it. Highly recommended.
