The name is a reference to Italo Calvino's novel *The Baron in the Trees*, whose world evokes freedom, originality, and a certain "outsider" way of life, if I'm not mistaken. The service was impeccable, but the seafood was disappointing, consisting only of rings and two prawns... I recommend the other dishes 🕵️

Located on an unassuming street, Le Baron Perché has earned its place for good reason: the experience it offers is truly exceptional. The menu offered a distinctly Italian feel, with the personal touches of a highly creative chef. You travel from north to south across the boot of Italy without ever losing sight of the scenery. I succumbed to the cooked provola as a starter, a delight, and then I was tempted by the osso buco, which reminded me of the best ferragosto from my native Calabria. The dishes are refined, well-seasoned, and presented with understated elegance (why bother when it's good?). The waiters and waitresses will pamper you and put you at ease with a few well-placed puns. A "must-do" in Marseille if you appreciate fine food served in beautiful establishments. Long live Le Baron Perché!
