Le Barresto sur Mende

16/08/2024: The hotel is excellently located (Intermarché is next door, right in the city center). The street-facing rooms are well insulated from noise, and the views of the cathedral and the mountains in the background are very pleasant. The lack of air conditioning in the rooms is a bit of a shame. You shouldn't be afraid of the heat, but even in the height of summer, the nights are cool. The hotel is certainly a bit marked by the times, but its style, which has remained "in its original state," gives it a certain charm, and the rooms are nonetheless pleasant. The restaurant is closed, but breakfasts are still available and are very good.
