A welcoming place with very helpful and friendly staff, generous and tasty meals. Clean restaurant and restrooms, good location in the city center. I highly recommend it.

Lunch for four on Saturday: decent welcome, choice of table, Aperol at €7.20 perfectly measured (a double pleasant surprise), fairly quick service, and a good meal. A great find for our shopping day.

During a weekend in Strasbourg, we discovered this restaurant and returned twice. Excellent food and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

10/05/2026: It was a good choice for a spontaneous dinner. Decent value for money.
07/05/2026: We visited Le Pfifferbriader twice during our photo trip to Strasbourg. Once for a meal and once for wine. The food was excellent; we both ordered pork knuckle with sauerkraut. We had a rosé wine. The service was very friendly. The waiter recognized us immediately on our second visit and gave us a warm welcome. The restaurant offers good food at a good price! I can definitely recommend it!

17/05/2026: We had a lovely time in this typical Alsatian restaurant. Despite the crowds, the dishes arrived perfectly and the food was very good!
16/05/2026: Great little venue, with typical regional meals in a superbly ' ' 'ancienne' cave monestry style. Prices where good, waitress was great..
