Le Basilic sur Brioude

A nice crêperie. It's a shame a few details spoil this otherwise good restaurant. The service is inconsistent, the decor is dated, storage areas are visible from the dining room, and the toilets, while clean, are nothing special. A little more attention to these points would make it a must-try. I'll be back, though, because the crêpes are very good.

We arrived at 8:30 pm and were accepted for dinner, but with a choice of only five galettes. The service was adequate. Coming from Brittany, we found the galettes bland (not much buckwheat flavor).

Small restaurant on a square. The food is very good. The waitress is lovely!

Friendly welcome, very wide selection of organic buckwheat galettes. It's best to reserve a table on the terrace. Service can be slow during peak season. Good value for money!

We stumbled upon the charming town of Brioude, found accommodation, and strolled through the historic center. Near the basilica, we discovered a lovely square where this crêperie had set up its tables. The portions were generous, featuring fresh, local ingredients! From the main courses to the wine and dessert, everything was a delight! The service was very friendly and pleasant. Perhaps a little slow, but since we weren't in a hurry, it didn't bother us too much. A must-try!

Conveniently located next to the Romanesque basilica. Good value for money.

Decent crepes and no-nonsense service. The place is truly superb; that's the main reason to come!

A lovely terrace, a very warm welcome, quick and efficient service, delicious galettes (I'm jealous of how thin they are!) made with organic flour, a scrumptious crêpe for dessert, and excellent cider! And all this at a reasonable price. In short, we had a wonderful time. What more could you ask for?

We loved this place; it's friendly and the staff are welcoming. The crepes are delicious too.
