15/08/2026: Excellent. We stopped during a long motorcycle ride at 1 p.m. Initially, they told us there was a long wait because several large tables were already occupied. However, we were served very quickly so we could continue our ride. It was delicious and inexpensive with excellent service.

24/07/2026: Arrived feeling hungry and left just as quickly, €29.00 lighter. Wanted to try something special, but the waiter couldn't tell me a thing, claiming he didn't speak a word of English. To make matters even more embarrassing, he asked a lady to mediate. I felt more and more like an outsider and eventually chose something that appealed to me and verified that it was served with pasta. In the end, I received a plated dish with a cube of pâté (foie gras) that I had to make do with. The owner will probably accuse me of ignorance, but I blame him for severe lack of communication. That kind of restaurant is not for me. Nico

19/07/2026: Fine cuisine, well served in a quiet setting; the dishes are beautifully flavored.

14/07/2026: Small Asian restaurant in the historic center of Brioude. The wait to be served was far too long (an hour's wait for two simple, hot dishes for two people – one dish per person). It's a bit much! Apparently, the owner prioritizes takeout customers (at least five people came through during our hour-long wait...). With that many options, it's impossible to satisfy everyone! The food is simple and plentiful (moderately Vietnamese), a little bland. The service is attentive. The slight comment about our wait was unwarranted (it seems to me that it's the restaurant owner's responsibility to adapt to the customers, not the other way around!). Very good value for money.
