Le Bastion sur Saint-Martin-De-Re

A really nice atmosphere for having a drink at sunset. We came with friends and children. The staff were very welcoming.

The setting is superb. During our meal, we were served by several servers, each one more charming than the last. The dishes were delicious from appetizer to dessert. A wonderful transformation of the legendary Bastion!

A rather mixed review… The place is really pleasant, with a chic and relaxed atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. The food is good, but we found the value for money, and especially the portions, to be a bit small considering the prices. The menu and the choice of dishes clearly demonstrate the desire to position itself in a rather upscale segment… and the prices reflect this ambition. The service is pleasant, but we found it rather inflexible in some respects. On the other hand, a special mention goes to the atmosphere during the meal: the singing duo was really enjoyable and created a lovely ambiance for the evening, without being intrusive. No complaints about the club area either: a very warm welcome and a team that took great care of its guests, which was truly appreciated. Ultimately, you get the sense that the establishment wants to follow the path of upscale establishments, with a relaxed, "chill" vibe, like those found on the French Riviera or on certain trendy islands. The idea is appealing and the potential is there, but there's still some way to go to reach the level of the establishments it seems to be comparing itself to. A pleasant experience nonetheless, but given its positioning and prices, we expected a bit more. That said, it's definitely worth repeating the experience, hoping for some improvements on a future visit.

A remarkable place! The view is simply exceptional and the quality of the dinner... absolutely divine! A must-visit address that I highly recommend.

We had a pleasant time at Les Bastions this evening; the waitress was very friendly. The only negative point was that the cashier was very cold. We'll come back despite that.

Beautiful setting, excellent wine recommendation. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. The young singer kindly performed one of our favorite songs for us. The only downside was that my dish wasn't hot.
