A very pleasant bistro, both in terms of decor and service. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, especially thanks to the terrace overlooking the harbor, which is a real bonus.
The food is generally very good, with some dishes being particularly well-executed. The coffee was also excellent, which is always a welcome way to finish a meal.
However, the prices are quite high, clearly in a touristy range, comparable to those found in Paris. Overall, a good place to eat, pleasant for a convivial meal, although the value for money might be a little less than ideal.

The best experience on the island! I highly recommend the place, the atmosphere, the service, and the food. Everything was beautiful and delicious; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. And homemade, just the way we like it.

We had the pleasure of eating at this outdoor restaurant on March 31st, 2026. The main server was a jovial experienced employee. He not only kept us laughing but he gave us great suggestions for ordering our dishes. All four of our meals and desserts were delicious. I especially enjoyed my simple fish which was so fresh! The location of Le Bistro du Marin is next to the port which makes it the perfect place for people watching. Thanks so very much for a fantastic meal and memorable time at your island restaurant.

Pleasant location on the harbor with a sunny terrace.
Friendly service (although the two waiters we had were a bit overbearing).
Food quality: nothing special.
Rather expensive: €12 for a plate of 10 standard shrimp (and not even a finger bowl included: you have to ask for it!). The salad dressing was industrial (?).
Not even a small chocolate to accompany the coffee!
The restaurant's main appeal is its setting.

It feels like a regular haunt. Very busy, even on a Sunday evening. No reservations. Classic and very good dishes. Excellent welcome and service. Highly recommended.

A fantastic welcome! You can feel the great atmosphere among the team, and the razor clams and shrimp were excellent, not to mention the homemade fries! Pure bliss!
