Good restaurant on the port of Saint-Martin, simple but excellent dishes thanks to the quality and freshness of the ingredients; all in a pleasant nautical setting. My only complaint is the inattentive and sarcastic welcome (especially towards two foreign customers who didn't understand the "humor" when he told them they couldn't use the parasols on the terrace and ended up sitting inside out of frustration 🫤).

The food was average. The razor clams were best, but I can taste a little bit of sands. Also ordered steak and sword fish which were ok but steak was chewy. The interiors did look pretty nice and cosy.

An iconic bar and restaurant in St. Martin. You absolutely must stop by.
An incredible chef with dishes that are more delicious than the last.
The servers are super friendly.
The atmosphere is amazing.
So go there, and no need to make a reservation because they don't take them.

Hello, I highly recommend this restaurant as we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was excellent, the service was very good and welcoming, with no long wait. The restaurant is also very well located on the edge of the port of Saint-Martin-de-Ré, with a charming, slightly dated nautical decor! 🤩🤩🤩🤩💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️❤️

Excellent experience at Bistrot du Marin. The staff is fantastic and the food is superb! How could you not feel like you're in paradise, right on the harbor, with a glass of wine and a 500g sole?
Thank you to the whole team! Despite the heat, we had a very pleasant time.

A wonderful discovery! The staff and the manager are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, despite the crowds.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish, with homemade products from appetizer to dessert. The quality is truly exceptional, and the prices are perfectly in line with the quality of the food.
And finally, the setting is ideal, right on the harbor. A pleasant place, a friendly team, and excellent cuisine: we highly recommend it! 😊
