Le Bateleur sur Vaison-La-Romaine

We had dinner at Le Bateleur in Vaison-la-Romaine last night, and we had a wonderful evening! There were six of us, and everyone was delighted. The food is absolutely delicious, with flavorful dishes, perfectly executed and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The service is equally outstanding: a smiling, welcoming, attentive, and very professional team. A great place that we highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

A truly wonderful discovery! The cuisine is entirely homemade, bursting with flavor, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The intentionally limited menu is a real testament to freshness and expertise: you can tell that each dish is crafted with care. The service is impeccable, warm, attentive, and present just the right amount without being intrusive. This is a place that inspires confidence and where you're guaranteed a fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful food - octopus starter, grilled fish / pork belly main course. Glass of the chef’s recommendation white wine (excellent value for €8). We had a table for 2 with a great view over the river and castle. Highly recommended. Shame there was nobody else there (hence the slightly reduced “atmosphere” rating which was hardly their fault). A gem. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

A culinary orgasm! The dishes are all beautifully presented with fresh, high-quality ingredients. All served with Adriana's radiant smile. A place that deserves to be known.

An excellent restaurant with a small terrace , running water from a fountain makes for a soothing atmosphere. Small menu (but typical for area) well executed on the plate. We really enjoyed our evening here. The waitress was very friendly. My only negative was neighbours trying to smoke a packet of cigarettes between courses. C'est la France!

It's difficult to describe this place because everything was so perfect, from the service to the food, from the beginning to the end of the meal. The ambiance, the tastes, the flavors, the decor, even the gentle sound of the fountain—everything was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Le Bateleur restaurant in Vaison-la-Romaine. The dishes were seasonal, generous, and prepared with great care. The service was equally excellent. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

While passing through, we chose the three-course menu from a small selection. Even the amuse-bouche hinted at the culinary delights to come. Our expectations were met. The food was of high quality, freshly prepared, the fish and meat cooked to perfection, and the seasonings well-balanced. The presentation was beautiful (including the tableware). The recommended wine pairings (per glass) were perfectly suited. An authentic restaurant with very warm service, located a little off the beaten path. Excellent value for money. For us, it was the perfect start to our vacation. We love these small, independent restaurants. The ambiance is charmingly designed, with "art" on the walls – truly unique. And we'd gladly repeat this culinary experience next year while traveling through the area.
