Le Bel Abri sur Annecy-Le-Vieux

We had a wonderful weekend at this charming hotel. Lovely, comfortable rooms. Excellent restaurant, bright and beautifully decorated. A generous breakfast buffet. Very friendly welcome. Very close to the lake and the promenade leading to Annecy. Parking (free in winter). We'll gladly return!

No one answered the phone and no one was at the reception, so we went to another hotel.

I highly recommend it... Last week, I had a lovely stay in Annecy at the Hôtel Le Bel Abri, which has managed to retain its Savoyard charm. It was wonderful! Everything was perfect: the welcome, the helpfulness, the attentiveness, the friendliness... excellent value for money! Thank you, Nicolas, and to your entire team for your kindness.

Asking for two glasses and a carafe of chilled water was excessive. We were disappointed with the second person who served us. They were haughty and not very pleasant, which was a shame. Otherwise, everything was very good.

Restaurant experience: An excellent time with succulent, sophisticated, and beautifully presented dishes! I recommend it 1000%, especially compared to other good-quality restaurants nearby like Ricochet or Irma… Le Bel Abris is much better value! A big thank you for a restaurant like yours in Annecy!

Lunch at the restaurant: Very warm welcome. Varied menu: it was very good. Quick service. The restaurant's dining room is very pleasant. Facing the lake, yet far from the "look at me" crowd. An added bonus!

Very cute, very pleasant, and on a human scale! It feels like you're staying with friends; you feel very comfortable there. Magnificent view of the lake from the terrace of some rooms. The bedding is high-quality and allows for a restful sleep. And all this just a 40-minute walk (along the lake) from the old town...wonderful!! The staff is attentive, the breakfast is perfect...special mention for the bread and butter, which we really enjoyed. The restaurant offers refined and delicious cuisine. The service is very well-paced and very professional, even when the restaurant is packed! Below the house, a large garden planted with trees allows you to enjoy a drink in a charming setting. Congratulations to Nicolas and his entire team, who are highly motivated for their welcome and kindness. They are committed to ensuring you have a wonderful stay and to making you come back! We won't lie to them! We will be back!
