We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel with a lovely view of the lake. The room was clean and comfortable, the meal offered very good value for money, and the unlikely couple who hosted the place, a Dutch gentleman and an Uzbek lady, brought an unusual exotic atmosphere! I recommend it, it's a place to discover, in this peaceful and quiet corner of France.

The hotel is ideally located at the gateway to Lake Vassivière (a good 5-minute drive). The rooms are charming and clean, with everything you need for a 2-star establishment. The view of the Peyrat pond just across the street is splendid.

11/01/2026: We had lunch there during the Christmas holidays. The restaurant was empty, but that didn't bother us at all; quite the opposite. We were very well looked after. Beautiful view of the lake, we ate well, and I absolutely loved the coconut ice cream—it was amazing! 🤤🤤🤤 I've never had any so good.
11/01/2026: As a regular here, perfect for ending a sunny afternoon on the terrace, I'm disappointed, despite the staff's friendliness, by their lack of decorum... An ice cream sundae dangling in each hand to the waitress's swaying rhythm. It's always better to stand up straight and have some poise. The small plates for resting the ice creams, meant for a more elegant presentation, are gone, as are the little napkins we had to go and ask for. A successful business must pay attention to so many details.
