I'm leaving this review after two visits to this restaurant. The pasta is excellent, no complaints there. But the overall service leaves much to be desired… seating us on a Sunday at lunchtime, only to inform us afterward that there was no pasta, and then serving us a salad with (literally) two slices of marinated zucchini and eight cherry tomatoes on a bed of bagged lettuce… I won't be going back.

Friendly staff, we came as a couple without a reservation, we had pasta, polpette and Genova and 2 beers, it was very good, good portions.

We stumbled upon this lovely little Italian restaurant. Being of Italian descent ourselves, finding a good Italian restaurant can sometimes be a challenge. We opted for the aperitivo set menu with a spritz, an antipasto (burrata), and a focaccia cotto. To finish our meal, we had an affogato. The service was excellent, and the couple who run it were very kind and attentive to their customers. We'll definitely be back!

A cozy bistro with an outdoor terrace. The focaccia is beautifully crispy and deliciously topped. The dessert selection is very varied and equally tasty. The server/owner was very friendly and attentive.

A lovely meal shared with family on the terrace near the olive tree! Beautiful view of the Lorraine Museum's bell tower. A warm welcome, thorough descriptions of the evening's Italian-inspired offerings, and impeccable service. The focaccia and burrata salad and the stracciatella and mortadella focaccias delighted our palates and refreshed us on this historically warm evening. Fresh, high-quality, and perfectly seasoned ingredients! A wonderful end to the season 🇮🇹 🍹

A wonderful discovery! The homemade fresh pasta is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The welcome is warm, the service by the young woman is quick, and the setting is very pleasant. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

We visited the Biscotto chalet twice during the Christmas market! A huge congratulations! Whether it was opening day or a Monday evening, everything was perfect! The truffle pasta was perfect! The red wine was excellent! The manager in the chalet is warm and very friendly!! The dish was delicious and also a great vegetarian option! We will definitely return to eat pasta there or directly at their restaurant on Rue Saint Epvre! Well done!

08/07/2026: This is one of the best pizzas in Nancy! The ingredients are high-quality, and the dough has a taste of expertise and a signature Gilio's touch. The place is suitable for enjoying a pizza under cover, but not for a full meal. It's worth noting that there can sometimes be a slight delay, but you'll never get a cold pizza, hey hey! The prices are fair considering the quality of the ingredients. Finally, they often have special pizzas of the moment and announce them on their Facebook page. I encourage you to follow them to find out when they're available, and you can also find the pizza menu there. ☀️ Tip: In the summer, grab a pizza, a drink, a bench, a table, or a blanket in the Parc Sainte-Marie across the street, and life is good 😉☀️
22/05/2026: Fantastic welcome!! And the pizzas are excellent, we tried the Frenchy cheese and the Vosgiennes, they were really very good, I highly recommend this pizzeria :)

IL RISTORANTE

17/09/2026: This isn't new to me, as I go there a few times a year. For me, it's the best Italian restaurant in Nancy, and in terms of value for money, it's undoubtedly unbeatable. There are no complaints, only praise.
14/09/2026: The food and service were very pleasant. A very professional waiter who demonstrated tact and experience in calming a tense situation with the people at the next table.
